LANDING ON

Ramsey Island

Ramsey Island ferry boat trips Ramsey so

TAKE A FERRY BOAT AND LAND ON RAMSEY ISLAND.

Ramsey Island is owned and protected by the RSPB who have granted Thousand Islands sole landing rights to the island.

The number of visitors allowed to land on the island daily is limited.  Each day a privileged number of day visitors are invited to experience the unspoilt natural beauty of this spectacular island nature reserve.

Seals, seabirds and a myriad of flora and fauna make up this beautiful Pembrokeshire island RSPB Nature Reserve.

In spring the islands cliffs come alive with thousands of nesting seabirds. Peregrines and Choughs also nest on the cliffs which are some of the highest cliffs in Wales.

In summer the carpets of heather come into bloom attracting bees and butterflies.

In Autumn the Atlantic Grey Seal colony increases with 100's of fluffy white seal pups born on Ramseys beaches and bays every year.

On arrival at Ramsey one of the RSPB staff will talk to you about the island, you will then receive a map and will be free to explore the island at your leisure.
